The Village: Simple Life's First Community
Simple Life originated in 2017 with the opening of our very first community, The Village. What sparked the idea for Simple Life was creating a way of life that had a few key ingredients. First, a smaller home, limited to just the space needed, whether that be in a one or two bedroom cottage. Next, lifestyle amenities shared by residents of the community who all share a commonality: wanting to live large and carry less. Lastly, a way for residents to let go of the burdens of maintaining their land, save money, and lead a lock-and-leave lifestyle. Thus, Simple Life was born.
We started by developing homesites around 2,5000 square feet, with smaller homes (399-550 square feet). We sought out facility-focused home builders to provide high quality housing with a smaller footprint. We found that modern factory-built housing provided craftsman quality construction and beautiful finishes, adhered to national building codes and avoided costly weather delays and damage, material waste and contractor fees.
In our collection of cottages, you will find a variety of one and two bedroom options, each unique in their own way. There is something for everyone, whether that be a loft for extra storage, a kitchen with more cabinet space or a front or side porch for extra outdoor living.
At The Village, you will find a community clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, community gardens, a fire pit and more. All of these amenities are where memories are made, whether at a community potluck, yoga class or game night. Management plans events and activities for our residents, and our residents plan and execute their own social gatherings as well.
At Simple Life, you can participate in as much or as little as you want, but there is always something to do and a space to gather. All of our communities have luxury amenities for the enjoyment of our residents, it is a big part of what makes a Simple Life community unique.
The Land Lease
Our land lease lowers the overall cost of living for our residents. Included in each lease is water, sewer, trash collection, common area maintenance and property taxes. Our specific zoning allows us as developers to minimize the costs of building materials, roads, water, sewer and amenities. These are savings that we pass along to you, the homeowner, by significantly lowering the cost of purchasing a home.
In short, we found a way to utilize lower impact, less costly development to offer luxury lifestyle community living at lower overall cost.
With the success of our sold out Village community, we brought this same philosophy across the road to our new sister community, The Hamlet. This community embodies everything Simple Life is about, with all of the key ingredients in place.
