Our quality-built Lee Woods Construction Homes are designed and built to Florida code. Here in Florida’s central region, our homes meet all of the Hurricane code requirements.
Simple Life uses lower impact, less costly development to build homes, operate cottage communities, and provide low maintenance amenity-rich living at a lower overall cost.
We currently have three communities across the southeastern U.S. Two are located in Flat Rock, North Carolina, and one in Oxford, Florida.
In Lakeshore, we offer a detached and attached garage option on select homesites. / In North Carolina, we offer several shed options but our zoning laws do not allow a garage.
You own your home and avoid the cost and burden of land ownership with lifestyle amenities, lawn maintenance, and more included in one monthly payment. Without the cost and burden of land ownership, you keep more money in your pocket and more time for new experiences.
We have the option to increase it up to a cap of 7% based on CPI (consumer price index) on the anniversary of the lease each year. A longer-term lease gives you greater financial control of your future.
No. We are not age-restricted and welcome everyone. However, our homes are limited in size and have a max capacity of 2 persons per bedroom.
Simple Life does not rent new homes. Our homes are for sale only. Some of our owners do rent their homes when they are not owner-occupied. This is done privately through the owner. To learn more about renting your home at Simple Life, contact your community manager.
We require that each pet has a full vaccination record, rabies shots, and a picture submitted with the pet approval form. Pets are typically approved unless the breed is on the uninsurable list or exceeds the 70 lb. weight limit. There is a limit of two pets per home.
